now-foods-magnesium-ascorbate-powder-8oz-0756
Now Foods Magnesium Ascorbate Powder 8oz - 0756

Magnesium ascorbate is vitamin C and magnesium that decided to split rent on one molecule.

That's not a metaphor, that's just chemistry. Ascorbic acid on its own can be a little rough on some stomachs, so somebody buffered it with magnesium, and now you've got a powder that supports two things at once instead of making you take two different pills at two different times like some kind of pharmacist. Now Foods packed this into an 8oz jar, which sounds small until you realize it's a powder, and powder goes a long way. It's like how a pound of feathers is still a pound, except this one you actually stir into water and drink instead of stuffing into a pillow.

What It Actually Does

Vitamin C supports immune system function and contributes to healthy skin, and magnesium supports healthy muscle function and helps maintain energy levels your body already knows how to use correctly. Together they support a normal, functioning body, which is the only kind of body a supplement is legally allowed to talk about. This is not a drug. It's a powder. The label is very clear on that point, and so am I.

Supports immune system health with a well absorbed form of vitamin C

Supports healthy muscle and nerve function through magnesium

Supports healthy energy levels and normal metabolic function

Buffered formula designed to be gentler than straight ascorbic acid

Powder format mixes into water or juice for easy daily use

Why Powder

You can measure your own dose, mix it into whatever you're already drinking, and skip the part where you swallow a capsule the size of a vitamin someone designed to be difficult. Some people like capsules. I like knowing where my supplement is at all times, and with a powder, it's just sitting there in the glass, looking at me, doing its job. No guessing. No choking hazard shaped like a horse pill.

Who It's For

People who want vitamin C and magnesium in the same scoop, without doing math about two separate bottles. That's it. That's the whole pitch. Now Foods has been making supplements since before "wellness" was a section at the grocery store, so the manufacturing part is handled. Your part is the water and the stirring, and honestly, that's the easiest homework you'll do all week.

<details data-v6="ing" open style="margin:0;border-top:1.5px solid rgb(232,232,225);background:transparent;">
Ingredients & Supplement Facts

Dietary Supplement

Serving Size: 1/4 Level Teaspoon (approx. 1 g)
Servings Per Container: 227

Vitamin C (from Magnesium Ascorbate), 820 mg

Magnesium (from Magnesium Ascorbate), 60 mg

Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients.
